Four Manchester United youth players called up to represent England

Manchester United will have four youth-team players in action for England's Young Lions during the upcoming international break.

England's Under-19s will face off against Georgia, Montenegro and Denmark as part of their European Under-19 Championship qualifying group.

The Young Lions lifted the European Under-19 Championship trophy in the summer and start their qualification campaign against Montenegro on Wednesday, before taking on Georgia on Saturday, September 24. The final qualification match will be against Denmark on Tuesday, September 27.

Meanwhile, England's Under-18s will take part in a mini-tournament in Spain this month, where they will come up against the Netherlands, the Faroe Island and Belgium.

England face off against the Netherlands on Wednesday, September 21, before facing the Faroe Islands on Friday, September 23 and then Belgium on Monday, September 26.

Here are the four United players who will be in action for the England youth teams.

Omari Forson (England U19s)

The midfielder broke into United's U18s set-up as a schoolboy and has gone on to gain valuable experience in the league and FA Youth Cup.

The 18-year-old, who joined United from Tottenham, has made five appearances in the Premier League 2 so far this season, where he has registered three goals and one assist. Forson also played in the 2-1 win over Carlisle in the EFL Trophy, where he scored the winning goal.

Sam Mather (England U19s)

Mather recorded 20 goal contributions in all competitions last season, with the majority of his appearances coming in the U18 Premier League.

He has featured on one occasion in the Premier League 2 so far this term and has made two appearances in the U18 Premier League.

Tyler Fredricson (England U18s)

Defender Fredricson was part of last season's FA Youth Cup-winning squad and was added to the UEFA B list for the Europa League last week. He made the bench for the game against Real Sociedad at Old Trafford.

The 17-year-old has featured five times in the Premier League 2 this campaign and also played in the EFL Trophy triumph over Carlisle.

Kobbie Mainoo (England U18s)

Mainoo was also part of last season's FA Youth Cup-winning side and was added to the UEFA B list for the Europa League last week.

The midfielder, 17, has gained experience in the Premier League 2 and also the EFL Trophy - receiving plaudits for his vision and technical ability.
