Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has said police and security services ‘won’t hesitate to take action to counter any threat” after the arrest of four men on suspicion of spying on the Jewish community in London for Iran.
The Metropolitan Police said the suspects, one Iranian and three dual British-Iranian nationals, were taken into custody on suspicion of assisting a foreign intelligence service.
