A Northumberland Four in a Bed host dropped a 'clanger with a banger' when he forgot to serve sausages on one of his guest's full Northumbrian breakfasts - but it could have been wurst!
Steve and Maria Turnbull of Crackin' View Guest House welcomed visitors to Lanehead, near Bellingham, for Tuesday's episode of the popular Channel 4 daytime show - which pits B and B owners against each other from across the UK.
The sausage faux pas did very little to affect Steve and Maria's overall scores - they got 10s all round on their hosting, after having taken the guests for a guided tour around Hexham Abbey the previous day and welcoming them into the guest house's bar on the evening.

However, the couple were docked a few points on their facilities - visitors bemoaning the small mirrors in the bathroom, and a lack of full length hanging.
Overall though, these were small criticisms, and each of the three competing couples answered yes to the all important question - would they stay at Crackin' View again?
The couple have put themselves in a strong position ahead of the final episode on Payment Day on Friday night.
Four In A Bed continues at 5pm on Channel 4 tomorrow, with the winners revealed on Friday. For more information on Crackin' View, visit the guest house's website.
