In the wake of a brutal attack on two NYPD officers in New York, the issue of migrant deportations has come to the forefront. Recently, it has come to light that four of the migrants involved in the incident have reportedly fled to California. According to reports, they provided false names to a church group and boarded a bus heading to California. The court authorities admit that they have no information regarding the whereabouts of these individuals, who are required to appear for their scheduled hearings.
The incident, which involved a mob assaulting two police officers, has raised concerns among both Republicans and Democrats. While six migrants have already been arraigned in connection with the attack, there is a seventh suspect who the Manhattan District Attorney's office is refusing to charge. The prosecutor claims that there is insufficient evidence to link the individual to the crime.
