A car crash involving four vehicles sparked huge tailbacks on a section of a major Scots motorway today.
Long queues of traffic were seen on the M8 westbound following the crash, which took place at Junction 3A near Livingstone around 3.45pm.
No injuries have been reported thus far.
Traffic Scotland has since confirmed that Junction 3A has now reopened following the incident and that all lanes are now running.
Traffic is currently heavy back to J2 but it is hoped that will 'ease shortly'.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving four vehicles on the M8 westbound close to junction three near Livingston around 3.45pm on Wednesday, 9 February.
"The vehicles have been recovered and no injuries have been reported."
