The 16-year-old victim has suffered multiple stab wounds when he went to Fairfield Police Station about 11pm on Friday.

He was treated by officers and paramedics and taken to Liverpool Hospital where he is in a stable condition.

NSW Police went to a local fast-food restaurant where they arrested three boys and a man in a parked car.

A 16-year-old, two 17-year-olds and 21-year-old were taken to Fairfield Police Station for questioning.

One of the 17-year-olds was on Saturday charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, affray and breach of bail.

He was refused bail and will appear at a children's court on Saturday.

The other teenagers were released pending further inquiries.

The police investigation continues.
