The founder and former Oasis manager is to host a special session in Glasgow alongside a DJ set in the east end.
Alan McGee is known for signing Oasis, arguably one of the biggest bands of all time who are best known for their songs ‘Wonderwall’ and ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger.’
The event is due to take place on March 24 at Barras Art and Design Centre and will give the opportunity to music fans of Oasis to ask questions.

Alan, 62, grew up in Glasgow and attended King’s Park Secondary school where he met future Primal Scream founder, Bobby Gillespie.
The former manager of Oasis also worked closely with the Labour Party in 1997 on their media campaign and worked to gain funding for aspiring musicians.
Alan discovered Oasis in 1993 after attending an Oasis gig in Glasgow’s popular music venue, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on Saint Vincent Street. This year will mark 30 years since Alan discovered the group.
Alan specialises in rock and indie and is also well known for co-founding and running the independent Creation Records label which signed Oasis.
He is currently manager for the Happy Mondays, Black Grape, Shaun Ryder, The Gulps and used to manage Glasgow’s very own, Primal Scream.
The event will take place on March 24 at 7pm – 11pm at 54 Calton. Entry with attendees needing to be at least 18 years of age to attend the Q&A.
