"Forza Horizon 6" is now promising all players that they are getting a free supercar to claim in-game alongside the release of the hotfix for the now temporarily disabled "The Eliminator" game mode.
All players in the game are set to receive this freebie vehicle and are also guaranteed that they will get the exploited game mode back once it is fixed.
'Forza Horizon 6' Free Supercar Is Coming Soon
Playground Games is handing out a free McLaren supercar to all "Forza Horizon 6" players as a goodwill gesture following a credit exploit that surfaced in "The Eliminator" mode. The studio also confirmed a hotfix is on the way to close the loophole and bring the mode back online, with account rollbacks planned for those who took advantage of the glitch.
All players of "Forza Horizon 6" will be receiving the 2021 McLaren Sabre for free, and no purchase or additional steps are required to be eligible. According to the Forza Support page, the vehicle will be distributed once access to "The Eliminator" has been restored through the upcoming hotfix.
The free supercar offer was put together as a direct response to the inconvenience caused by the mode's temporary removal over the weekend. According to GameRant, Playground Games is giving "Forza Horizon 6" players this free supercar as a gesture of goodwill following a major bug with the Eliminator game mode.
The McLaren Sabre is a notable addition to the game, as car enthusiasts know this vehicle to be a limited production car in real life.
We currently plan to reintroduce The Eliminator in #ForzaHorizon6 as soon as possible as part of a hotfix. Additionally, as a gesture of goodwill, we will be sending all players the 2021 McLaren Sabre alongside the hotfix. We’ve created the following FAQ with more details:…

'Forza' to Release Hotfix on 'The Eliminator' Exploit
"The Eliminator" is a battle royale-style mode that returned to "Forza Horizon 6" from earlier entries in the series. Players compete in vehicles of varying tiers across a portion of the map, with the loser of each head-to-head encounter being eliminated.
A credits exploit was recently discovered within this mode, allowing some players to accumulate billions in in-game currency in a short amount of time. Playground Games responded by pulling matchmaking for the mode entirely while working on a targeted fix.
The studio confirmed it plans to reintroduce "The Eliminator" as soon as possible as part of a hotfix, which will address the credits exploit. Players who exploited the glitch will have their accounts rolled back to a cap of 10 million credits. The studio clarified that since the error originated on their end, no further disciplinary action will be taken against those accounts.
How to Claim 'Forza Horizon 6' Free Supercar
Claiming the free "Forza Horizon 6" supercar is straightforward once the hotfix goes live. Players will need to open the in-game Message Center and navigate to the Gifts tab, where the 2021 McLaren Sabre will be available for redemption.
The vehicle will only appear there after "The Eliminator" mode has been restored, so players will need to wait for the hotfix to drop before it shows up. No special code or external link is needed, and the offer applies to all "Forza Horizon 6" players regardless of platform.
Playground Games has not confirmed an exact date for the hotfix at this time but indicated the turnaround would be as quick as possible.
