Xbox and Playground Games are delisting several games from digital storefronts today, and one of them is Forza Horizon 4, which will be gone forever.

The delisting is only a few hours away at the time of writing this article, which gives players a short window of time to grab the game before it is permanently gone. The only way to get the game after the delisting is to buy secondhand physical copies from other people.

Forza Horizon 4 Set to be Delisted

Players who are eager to get Forza Horizon 4 before it's gone forever from digital storefronts can buy it right now with an up to 80% discount.

The developer said during the announcement of the game's delisting that it was because of "licensing and agreements with our partners."

The studio added that the only way that players will only be able to buy the bundled editions moving forward. The official date that the game is being delisted is Dec. 15, 2024.

After this, Forza Horizon 4 and its additional content will no longer be available for purchase through online stores, according to PCGamesN.

The developer added that players who already own the game and its DLC will still be able to download and play as normal. This includes offline, online, and multiplayer modes. It also noted that physical copies of Forza Horizon 4 will still be able to access online features.

Imminent Removal From Digital Storefronts

Many fans of the franchise were disappointed to hear about the news of the game's delisting when it first came out. Forza Horizon 4's playercount on Steam immediately surged to around 75,000. And in the last 24 hours, the game peaked at around 45,000.

Forza Horizon 4 is also going to be removed from Xbox Game Pass along with six other titles, such as Rise of the Tomb Raider, Amnesia: The Bunker, and Forager.

Forza Horizon 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider are the notable developments this time around, Game Rant said.

One thing to note about players who are thinking of buying Forza Horizon 4 is that the Ultimate Edition will include all of the vehicles being available immediately.

Fans are now hoping that the situation does not affect Forza Horizon 5 and Forza Motorsport, which are also popular titles in the series.

Another recommendation by some fans of the Forza franchise is that players should visit both the LEGO and Fortune Island expansion packs as soon as they can.

This is because some people were locked out from specific content relating to the DLCs, according to Xbox Era.
