Last week, Epic Games teased an official crossover between the legendary shonen anime Dragon Ball and Fortnite. Fans were hoping for Goku, and it seems like that’s happening after all. As if there was any doubt.
On Monday, well-known insider shiinaBR shared numerous details about the upcoming Fortnite X Dragon Ball event. As always, take all this rumor mill stuff with a grain of salt.
It looks as if iconic characters like Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Beerus will have playable skins. Goku might have four variants: Base Skin, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue, and Ultra Instinct. Meanwhile, Vegeta allegedly has Base Skin, Super Saiyan, and Super Saiyan Blue alternative outfits. Bulma and Beerus apparently only have one normal skin each.

According to ShiinaBR, there will be a new mythic weapon, emote, and gliders, including the Kamehameha, Fusion Dance, and Flying Nimbus & Saiyan Pod, respectively. There might be two new Points Of Interest (POI) as well: Capsule Corp and World Tournament. Again, don’t take any of this as gospel for now.
Thankfully, we won’t be waiting long to see if all of this is true. The official Fortnite X Dragon Ball trailer premiere on YouTube goes live on Aug. 16, 2022, at 1:00 A.M. PDT // 4:00 A.M. EDT // 8:00 A.M. GMT.
