Fortnite's annual summer event, known as the Summer Escape, has returned and will see the introduction of a Secret Skin.
Following No Sweat Summer last year, Summer Escape will take us through the next two weeks of Fortnite, as reported by The Mirror. There will also be new missions for the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass, allowing gamers to unlock the secret skin: Purradise Meowscles.
Details from the developer Epic Games itself have been scarce about the upcoming event. Here is everything we know so far about what the upcoming event will entail.

Fortnite Summer Escape – start time
The Fortnite Summer Escape event began at 2pm BST today. Epic Games have confirmed that the event will run for two weeks and end on Tuesday July 18 which is when the next major update for Fortnite – Fortnite Update 25.20 – is likely to launch.
Purradise Meowscles
The Summer Escape event will coincide with the launch of this season's secret battle pass skin Purradise Meowscles, here's a list of all the items included in the Purradise Meowscles pack, via the folks at Fortnite News:

Players may have to complete a series of missions similarly to previous secret skins. Each mission will unlock an item upon completion, culminating in the skin itself being unlocked when you've conquered a majority of the missions.
Unvaulted Items
The Summer Escape event is set to bring back the Firework Flare Gun and Ice Cream Cone items from last year's No Sweat Summer event. The Firework Flare Gun will replace the regular Flare Gun which is currently in the item rotation, however these are almost identical items outside of cosmetics. There's always the possibility that Epic Games could introduce some brand new summer themed items this year.
Summer Quests
The Summer Escape event is also set to introduce some Summer Escape quests. These will allow you to pick up some extra cosmetics, with datamining revealing that a currently unknown Back Bling, Pickaxe, and Emote are included.
