Epic Games went all out with the announcements about "Fortnite's" much-awaited return on the Android platform, showing off a video gameplay recording of the game played on an Android device.
According to the post, users may now take "Fortnite" gaming anywhere as no matter where they are, players may enjoy the online action game on the mobile Android platform with ease.
While "Fortnite" is available on other portable platforms like handheld consoles, cloud gaming via Android, and more, these are not direct experiences, unlike what "Fortnite" on Android delivers.
The native Android version of the battle royale game takes players directly to the gaming experience. Handheld consoles do not have cellular connection features, so they need to get a hotspot from mobile devices and cloud gaming. Despite being on Android, they only host the game for players.
Here's What to Expect from 'Fortnite' for Android
According to Epic Games, "Fortnite" for Android will be available on the Google Play Store beginning on March 19. The game developer studio already has a placeholder for "Fortnite" on the Play Store, but it is still unavailable for downloads as of writing.
It has been nearly six years after it was taken down due to an issue with alternative payment channels. After a long court battle, Epic won against Google in their antitrust fight.
