High-level Dungeon doors are soon going to open in Fortnite, and different-tier raids are going to start to defend the island. At the center of the raid is Sung Jinwoo, from the world of hit anime Solo Leveling, who should be ready to turn every match into his own boss battle.
Starting as humanity’s weakest hunter, Jinwoo experienced a second awakening during the infamous double dungeon incident, unlocking a mysterious system that allowed him to grow stronger with every battle. By clearing deadly quests, defeating powerful bosses, and steadily leveling up, he shattered his limits and climbed the ranks on his journey to become the strongest S Tier hunter in existence.
His Fortnite skin captures his post-awakening look, complete with his sleek black coat and that unmistakable dark aura. The skin comes with a Godly Statuette backbling as well. Players may not be able to literally command an army mid-match, but the crossover makes sure the Shadow Monarch has its aura intact.
Fan favorite shadows are also part of the crossover. According to the developers, Blood Red Commander Igris, Jinwoo’s fiercely loyal knight and one of his earliest and most iconic summons, is also joining the game. Known for his imposing crimson armor and unwavering devotion to the Shadow Monarch, Igris brings a battle-hardened presence to the lineup.
Leaks suggest Beru, the fearsome Ant King from Jeju island, could also join the line-up themed cosmetics as part of his shadow army, giving longtime readers and viewers something to geek out over. The crossover also expands beyond Jinwoo’s shadow army.
Characters like Cha Hae-In, the S-rank hunter known for her sharp instincts and even sharper blade, could also join the lineup, adding more high-tier hunters to the battlefield. Together, the set feels less like a solo run and more like a full party queue, with more characters who could join the game in the future.
The developer is also bringing the Solo Leveling: Arise Cup, where players will have a chance to get Sung Jinwoo’s cosmetic, Godly Statuette backbling, and Ahjin Guild Emoticon early.
With Fortnite continuing to tap into major anime hits, the Solo Leveling collaboration feels like a natural next step for the game. Epic Games has once again proved that when it comes to crossovers, the game knows how to level up fast. Players can now grind Victory Royales with a monarch-level drip with Sung Jinwoo on Feb. 20, 2026.
