Mike Gill's life took a horrific turn when a gunman entered his vehicle and shot him before fleeing on foot. Prior to this, at around 7 p.m., the same gunman attempted to carjack another victim who managed to escape unharmed. Tragically, just 10 minutes later, the assailant successfully carjacked another couple, shooting the male victim who later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The gunman's reign of terror stretched into neighboring Maryland, where he was ultimately shot and killed by Maryland law enforcement officers.
