Here is your Tottenham morning digest on Friday, February 25.
Dybala interest
Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing Argentina forward Paulo Dybala this summer and have been made aware of the situation at his current club Juventus, according to reports.
Dybala is out of contract in June and could leave Turin on a free transfer; Spurs director of football Fabio Paratici worked with the 28-year-old at Juve, when he held a similar position with the Italian giants.
A host of European football’s elite clubs are set to compete for Dybala’s signature in the summer, however Juve have now confirmed that they intend to open discussions over a new contract for the Argentine later this month.
Club CEO Maurizio Arrivabene told Sky Italy (via Sport Witness): “We will meet all expiring players at the end of February. We look ahead and, in addition to Dybala, we will also have to discuss the other renewals. We will do it in the right time and with an eye to the future.”

Sherwood verdict
Former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood has delivered his verdict after Antonio Conte gave a surprising post-match interview following defeat to Burnley.
Ben Mee scored the only goal of the game as Spurs fell to a 1-0 defeat at Turf Moor in what was a tepid performance, handing a significant blow to their chances of finishing in the top-four.
The result was of particular disappointment having come just four days after a stunning 3-2 victory away to league-leaders Manchester City.
In his post-match interview, Conte suggested that he may not be the right man to deliver the aims of the club going forward.

Paratici and Levy plan
Fabio Paratici and Daniel Levy could hand Antonio Conte a summer transfer boost in the form of Paulo Dybala to appease the manager amid exit talk that has surfaced after Tottenham's shock Burnley loss.
The Lilywhites went from winning away at Manchester City to dramatically falling from grace a few days later with a shock 1-0 defeat at Turf Moor.
Two performances that completely contrasted each other and really summed up the north London club's top four chase to date - good patches but never sparking into life.
No wonder the manager is now contemplating his future as his high standards are currently not being reflected in Spurs' fortunes on the pitch despite all the work going on behind the scenes and on the training ground to change all of this.
