Former Tory MP Imran Ahmad Khan freed from jail after serving half his sentence

A former Tory MP has been freed from jail, serving just half his prison sentence, after being convicted of groping a 15-year-old boy.

Imran Ahmad Khan was caged for 18-months in May of last year after being found guilty of sexually assaulting the teenager after a party in 2008.

The 49-year-old lost a Court of Appeal challenge against his conviction and sentence in December.
