Former U.S. President Trump departs Trump Tower in New York

During a court hearing on Thursday, former President Donald Trump was arraigned on a superseding indictment. His attorney, John Lauro, entered a plea of not guilty on behalf of Trump. Judge Tanya Chutkan confirmed Trump's plea and deemed the arraignment for the superseding indictment complete.

Chutkan mentioned that she would not finalize a schedule during the hearing but expressed her intention to do so as soon as possible, potentially later the same day.
