Former President Trump's presence in the Iowa caucuses has been dominating the polls, indicating his strong standing both within the state and nationally. However, adverse weather conditions have forced the former president to cancel some events on his schedule. Despite this setback, Trump plans to hold a virtual event in Iowa in an effort to connect with as many Iowans as possible as the caucuses draw near.
The former president had originally planned to hold two rallies today and two more tomorrow, specifically targeting rural areas where he anticipates strong support from his loyal base and potential first-time caucus-goers. Unfortunately, the below-zero temperatures and impending snowstorms have made it challenging for him to proceed with his planned events.
