During a Fox News town hall on Wednesday, former President Donald Trump made several statements regarding Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz' brother endorsing him and criticized Vice President Kamala Harris over past policy reversals.
Trump mentioned that Tim Walz' brother, Jeff Walz, had endorsed him. However, Jeff Walz clarified in an interview with NewsNation that while he doesn't agree with his brother's policies, he expressed some regret for publicly considering endorsing Trump. Jeff Walz stated that he did not intend to influence the public with his social media posts supporting Trump over Harris and his brother's campaign.
Trump also highlighted the tax cuts he implemented during his presidency and criticized Harris' economic policies, which she elaborated on at an event the same day. Trump is set to deliver a speech at The Economic Club of New York on Thursday.
Regarding Harris' stance on fracking, Trump claimed that she still supports a ban on fracking despite her campaign's statement that she no longer holds that position. Trump emphasized the importance of Pennsylvania in the upcoming election, stating that the state cannot afford to take any chances.
