The historic frontage of the property has a pitched roof porch and a heavy wooden door. The entrance hall leads to a cosy lounge which has its own log burner.
The current owners have been daring with the décor in some rooms, with quirky ornamental deer heads on the wall in the dining area, but have kept things neutral elsewhere.
The open plan kitchen runs the the length of the rear of the house and comprises a second dining space which leads to the conservatory.
There are three bedrooms on the first floor, one of which has an en-suite, as well as a family bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub. The remaining two bedrooms are on the top floor.
The huge garden has a patio area, controlled electric gates and two sheds. There is also a garden office, which is fully powered.
The Old Post Office is on the market with estate agents Cameron Mackenzie for £425,000.
Tarbock Green is located between Halewood, Huyton and Belle Vale, with excellent links to the M62.
According to data, property prices in the area over the last year jumped by 19% to £355,000. However, the figure is 41% down on the 2010 peak of £600,000.
The average on Greensbridge Lane itself was £205,000, 19% lower than last year.
