Former Porto striker Jackson Martinez has lauded Luis Diaz as one of the “most enjoyable” players to watch in the world.
The winger joined Liverpool from the Portuguese club in January and has quickly settled into life as part of Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Diaz started the Carabao Cup final last weekend and was a constant threat to the Chelsea defence at Wembley as the Reds won their first domestic cup for a decade.
Having already won over Liverpool fans with his electric performances, Martinez believes there is still far more to come from his fellow countryman.

“When he arrived in Porto there were doubts because he came directly from Colombia, but he had the opportunity to start playing immediately,” the former striker said, as reported by Marca .
“He improved a lot in the tactical part and he will continue to (improve at) Liverpool.
“Worldwide, he is one of the most enjoyable to see play.
“He will go much further with the confidence that his coach is showing him.”
Having picked up a cup winner’s medal in only his sixth game for the club, Diaz will hope to keep adding to his trophy haul as Liverpool continue to battle across three competitions.
The 25-year-old scored his first Liverpool goal in the 3-1 league win over Norwich last month and has been given extended opportunities due to the injuries of Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota in recent weeks.
Diaz scored 14 goals and provided five assists in 18 league games for Porto, prior to joining Liverpool, and gives the Reds another important attacking option as the team work through their somewhat relentless fixture list.
