A former bingo hall in Orrell Park is to become a hand car wash despite more than 100 objections being made to the plans.
Documents made available by Liverpool Council have confirmed that the former Carlton Bingo and Social Club on Moss Lane will become an indoor hand car wash. The decision was reached under delegated powers, meaning it was not required to go before a full planning committee.
Plans for the vacant building, which went on sale three years ago, were first mooted in 2020. They were confirmed by the local authority late last month.
