The former operators of two cafes in Newcastle are being taken to court accused of breaches affecting several migrant workers to the tune of almost $30,000.

The Fair Work Ombudsman confirmed it has launched legal action against two companies, run by the same sole director, who were the former operators of two Oliver Brown cafes in Newcastle.
