When Keita Bates-Diop won the Big Ten Player of the Year in 2018, it was not surprising that he left Ohio State for the NBA shortly after.
It took Bates-Diop a few years to get his feet wet, but once he did, he turned himself into a very solid player with the San Antonio Spurs.

The NBA recognized Bates-Diop as the February recipient of the NBA Cares Community Assist Award for “his ongoing efforts to bring awareness to the importance of CPR training and AED accessibility in schools and the community.”
