The man, the myth, the legend, Cardale, “12 Gauge” Jones is back in professional football. Jones has signed with the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League. Most Ohio State Buckeye fans will remember Jones from his heroic playing days during the 2014 national championship run and victory.
After a successful collegiate career, Jones went on to have an up-and-down career in the NFL where he was drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills and had cups of coffee with the Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks before giving the DC Defenders of the XFL and the Edmonton Elks of the CFL a shot.
