Former Nottingham Forest striker Glenn Murray is the latest pundit to boycott Football Focus and Final Score in solidarity with Gary Lineker.
The news broke on Friday that Lineker would not be presenting Saturday's edition of Match of the Day in the wake of his comments condemning the government's controversial migration policy. A host of pundits and commentators, including Ian Wright and Alan Shearer, have since showed their solidarity with Lineker by vowing not to appear on the show.
Steve Wilson, Conor McNamara, Robyn Cowen and Steven Wyeth shared a joint statement online, saying: "We are comforted that football fans who want to watch their teams should still be able to do so, as management can use World Feed commentary if they wish. However, in the circumstances, we do not feel it would be appropriate to take part in the programme."

It is not just Match of the Day that is affected, however. Football Focus and Final Score have also been scraped as the row continues. Alex Scott confirmed she would not be hosting the lunchtime show, tweeting: "I made a decision last night that even though I love my show and we have had an incredible week winning an SJA for football focus that it doesn’t feel right for me to go ahead with the show today. Hopefully I will be back in the chair next week." Jason Mohammad, who presents Final Score, has also opted out.
And former Reds player Murray has now tweeted: "Was meant to be up in Media City today but reflecting last night I felt it was the right thing to do to step away from Focus & Score today. Hoping normal service resumes next week."
