Former NFL Linebacker Terrell Suggs Arrested In Starbucks Dispute

Terrell Suggs arrested in Scottsdale for threatening another man at Starbucks drive-thru.

Former NFL linebacker Terrell Suggs was arrested in Scottsdale, Arizona, after an incident at a Starbucks drive-thru where he allegedly threatened another man and displayed a handgun.

The altercation took place on March 10 when Suggs, driving a black Range Rover, passed the ordering speaker at Starbucks and had to reverse to place his order, inadvertently backing into the other vehicle. Both parties engaged in a verbal dispute before collecting their orders without any damage to either vehicle.

According to the police report, Suggs reportedly made threatening gestures towards the other driver, including flipping him off and making verbal threats. He then displayed a handgun from his vehicle window, although he did not point it at the other individual, before driving away from the scene.

Suggs, through a statement released by his management, explained that he was simply getting coffee in a quiet area of Scottsdale and did not intend to cause any trouble. He expressed feeling threatened by the other driver's actions and was concerned for his safety and that of his family.

Law enforcement officers were able to identify Suggs through video footage from the other vehicle, which revealed that the Range Rover involved was registered to him. Suggs, a former Baltimore Ravens player and seven-time Pro Bowl selection, is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 29 in the Superior Court of Arizona, Maricopa County.

This incident marks a concerning development for the retired NFL star, known for his successful career on the field. The legal proceedings will shed more light on the details of the altercation and its implications for Suggs moving forward.
