In these messages, Rodriguez questioned Howard about his stance on then-presidential candidate Donald Trump. Howard clarified that although the CEO of the publication endorsed Trump, he personally did not.
Further messages revealed discussions about Stormy Daniels and her alleged relationship with Trump. Rodriguez mentioned that Daniels was Trump's mistress, to which Howard responded with a suggestive comment. Howard also requested Rodriguez to email him any information she had on the matter.
