A former Michigan State quarterback made his NFL debut on Saturday.
Rocky Lombardi made his NFL debut in a preseason matchup for the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday afternoon. Lombardi is fighting for a spot on the Bengals roster, and completed four of eight passes for 33 yards in the game.
Lombardi played three seasons for the Spartans, with his last coming in 2020. Following the shortened 2020 season, Lombardi transferred to Northern Illinois where he played three seasons for the Huskies.

Lombardi went 4-of-8 passing for 33 yards, losing a fumble on the first of his three drives under center.
