East Kilbride are in talks with former Motherwell and St Mirren defender Richard Tait about a move to the Lowland League.

The 33-year-old was released by the Buddies last week and Kilby are hoping to entice the experienced full-back to join the club for their SPFL promotion push.

Tait will join up with Mick Kennedy's squad for training next week, with a view to potentially signing for the club ahead of the Lowland League campaign kicking off on July 22.
