Former Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries was among many thousands of hopefuls queuing online for next year’s Glastonbury festival yesterday (Thursday November 3) . Ticket and coach packages for the event sold out within half an hour, organisers said.
Ms Dorries tweeted her frustrations with the infamously difficult to acqure tickets when they went on sale yesterday evening. She shared a picture of her own computer screen, stuck at the stage before the booking page.
“If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try… Again,” she wrote. It is not known whether the MP and former cabinet minister, who championed the privatisation of Channel 4, was successful.
