Last year, center Nick Samac was one of the few bright spots on a rough offensive line unit for Michigan State football. Now, he’s making the case to make the final roster for the Baltimore Ravens.
Samac, who was the Ravens’ seventh-round draft pick in the 2024 NFL draft, has been getting first team reps for the Baltimore Ravens with Tyler Linderbaum injured. Samac has made the most of that opportunity, and he has been getting noticed by head coach John Harbaugh, as reported by Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic:
Harbaugh said that rookie seventh-round center Nick Samac has really come on and played well last Saturday. Samac was rewarded with first-team reps at center today with Tyler Linderbaum down.

Zrebiec also added thoughts that this indicates Samac’s chances to make the roster are much better now than they were just a few weeks ago.
Samac was recently the No. 2 offensive player in the Ravens preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
