Former Michigan State basketball forward Jaren Jackson Jr. undergoes surgery

Jaren Jackson Jr. has had a rough start to his offseason. The Memphis Grizzlies star has undergone surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right foot and it will sideline him for 4 to 6 months.

Jackson is coming off of his fourth season in the league, and one his best, averaging 16.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. His team, the Memphis Grizzlies, were the No. 2 seed in the NBA Playoffs and will look to make another playoff run in the 2022-23 season. Jackson is expected to make a full recovery.
