Former Merseyside PC Ryan Connolly to face 'misconduct' prosecution

Ryan Connolly

A former police officer is to be prosecuted over an allegation of misconduct in public office.

The Crown Prosecution Service has authorised the charge against Ryan Connolly, a court today heard.

Connolly served with Merseyside Police for a period of 18 years before resigning in 2020.
