Former Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is set to replace Patrick Vieira as Crystal Palace manager, according to reports.
The 75-year-old is on the verge of making his comeback at Selhurst Park just two years after leaving the post. During his previous tenure with the Eagles, he had announced his retirement from management with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp paying tribute to his opposite number.
His time out of the dugout was short-lived as he made a hasty return to management as he replaced Claudio Ranieri as Watford's manager. He spent four months at Vicarage Road with the Hornets suffering relegation as Hodgson left his position at the end of the season claiming he 'doesn't think' he will be going for roles in the top-flight again.
