Former Liverpool and Everton boss Rafa Benitez has explained his intentions to go back into management after his latest job.
Benitez has been out of work since he was sacked by Everton in January. The Spaniard spent six months in charge at Goodison Park, before he was shown the exit door and was replaced by Frank Lampard.
The 62-year-old also has ties to Liverpool, having spent six years as manager from 2004-10. During his time at Anfield, he won two major trophies including the Champions League in Istanbul in 2005.

Having been out of work for close to a year, Benitez has explained the type of club that he wants to join next. The ex-Real Madrid and Newcastle United boss says that ambitions to win trophies is a key factor in choosing his next job.
“Yes, I’d like to work in a team that can compete for something,” Benitez is quoted telling DAZN Italy .
“The difficulty is this: if you join a team and you don’t have the money, you have to have the right project, the right mentality and you have to use your experience. You have to work with the youth, with the players you have.
“We can use the experience to find a balance between the market and cultivate young players.”
