Forner Leeds United winger Harry Kewell has been given a role in Ange Postecoglu's coaching team at Celtic as the Australian looks to continue building his project in Scotland. The Glasgow side regained the Scottish Premiership title from Rangers in 21/22, whilst Kewell spent the majority of the season out of work, after he was sacked by Barnet in September.
Kewell has had a difficult start to his career as a manager, having been sacked from his last three jobs. His first role was at Crawley Town, where he walked out after 57 matches to take the job at Notts County. However, he was sacked after only 15 games at County.
The former Leeds man had a better reputation as a coach during his time at Watford and it appears to be that which Postecoglu is looking to exploit, as Celtic with have the additional challenge of competing in the Champions League next season.
