Former Leeds United head coach, Marcelo Bielsa has been offered the managerial job at LIGA MX side, Chivas, according to reports. The Argentine is said to be 'evaluating' an offer from the Mexican side in the latest rumour linking him with a return to the dugout.
Soychivahermano.com claims: "It is not yet a negotiation, because the habit of 'el Loco" is first to evaluate the conditions of the team, thoroughly study its system, players, background, demands and even the local culture."
This 'habit' is one that Leeds fans will be familiar with, given that Angus Kinnear and Victor Orta both stated that when they travelled to Argentina to speak to him about taking on the role at Elland Road, they found that he had watched every Championship game of the preceding season. He was then able to tell them the strengths and weaknesses of the team, as well as detailing reasons why they had won and lost particular games.

Since being sacked by Leeds in February, Bielsa has remained out of work, although he has regularly been linked with other roles, including several South American national teams. He earned legendary status during his tenure at Leeds, finally delivering promotion to the Premier League, after 16 years outside the top division.
He then delivered a top ten finish in the top-flight and there were hopes that Leeds would consolidate their status in the division this season but the Whites found themselves sliding backwards and on a run of six straight defeats when the Argentine was sacked in February.
