Motherwell are 'targeting' former Scotland international Robert Snodgrass.
The 34-year-old has reportedly spoken to the Steelmen about a return home, following 14 years down south.
Snodgrass sealed a big move from Livingston back in 2008 when he join Leeds United and the midfielder has gone on to enjoy spells at Hull City, Norwich City, West Ham United, Aston Villa and West Brom.
He was recently at Luton Town in the English Championship and, according to the Scottish Sun, clubs in that division and English Leaague One are also interested in his services.
Snodgrass has turned down a new deal at the Hatters in favour of a fresh challenge.
They also report "discussions are ongoing" between Snodgrass and Motherwell, with new boss Steven Hammell keen to add experience to his squad.
It is believed a contract until January or the end of the season is being discussed.
Yesterday, Motherwell snapped up former academy product Stewart McKinstry on a season long loan from Leeds United.
