Soap star Ali Bastian has revealed that she has been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer after discovering a lump while breastfeeding her baby.

The former Hollyoaks actress, 42, who was a semi-finalist on Strictly Come Dancing in 2009, is undergoing chemotherapy, and is set to have radiotherapy treatment and a mastectomy.
