Former Hearts and Albion Rovers star lands first management job

Albion Rovers Hearts Rovers Ryan Stevenson Glenafton Mark Roberts West of Scotland League

Former Hearts and Albion Rovers star Ryan Stevenson has landed his first job in management after being appointed the new boss at Glenafton Athletic.

The Jambos hero signed for Rovers in March last year but departed Cliftonhill in August after an injury-hit spell saw him make just nine appearances.

And the 37-year-old sees his career take a new path as he delves into management in the West of Scotland League.
