Former reality TV star and mixed martial artist Aaron Chalmers has signed a promotional deal with Boxxer.
Chalmers will make his professional boxing debut later this year and will be trained and managed by Adam Booth, former trainer to David Haye and George Groves.
Chalmers won five of his seven fights in MMA having fought for BAMMA and Bellator but has not competed for almost two years.
And he said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my time in MMA but I always knew that boxing was where I wanted to be. Now I’ve got the chance to fulfil that dream and over the next few years I’m going to give it my all."
Boxxer CEO Ben Shalom added: "Millions of people know Aaron Chalmers as a television star and professional MMA fighter, but he’s very serious about boxing and I’ve witnessed his dedication over the past twelve months.
"Adam Booth is one of the most accomplished trainers out there, so I’m looking forward to some exciting fights and seeing how far he can go."
Chalmers has been training with Booth since last year and has long planned to make his professional debut.
And he admits he is tempted by the prospect of celebrity bouts against the likes of Tommy Fury.
"I've been down training for about nine months," Chalmers told Mirror Fighting in October.
"I'm training with a great group of lads at Boxing Booth and an incredible coach so hopefully it won't be long now until I can get in the ring and start enjoying myself.

"The celebrities are always going to be there. That seems to be the in thing at the moment celebrity boxing.
"Don't get me wrong, those are big money fights and I'd be silly to say that I don't want one of them, but they will come down the line.
"Maybe not the first two or three, but I would like to get a few fights in and then snap them up because it's money isn't it?"
"Tommy [Fury] will be there, so I'm not too worried, what will be will be."
