The officials, numbering around 10, have expressed concern that these policies have led to what they describe as an 'invasion' of military-age foreigners, representing a significant threat to American national security.
These individuals, who collectively possess over 250 years of experience from various divisions within the FBI, including Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, and Intelligence Gathering, have written a letter addressed to House Speaker Mike Johnson, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and the chairpersons of the House and Senate Intelligence and Homeland Security Committees. In their letter, they highlight their extensive experience in protecting the country from homeland security threats and emphasize the urgency of the situation.
