Former Everton coach Fran Alonso was bizarrely on the receiving end of a headbutt by Rangers Women's assistant manager Craig McPherson on Monday night.
Alonso, who was part of Ronald Koeman's coaching staff during the Dutchman's time at Goodison Park, witnessed his Celtic side score a 99th-minute equaliser against their Old Firms rivals Rangers during their Scottish Women's Premier League derby, which kept the Hoops above their long-standing bitter rivals.
However, after the game Gers boss McPherson was evidently aggrieved at the manner in which his side had surrendered their grip on the three points and incredibly inflicted a headbutt on his the Celtic boss

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, the former Blues coach, Alonso, revealed he was called a "little rat" and later revealed he didn't speak to McPherson at all during the game.
"You can see there, somebody just pushed me from behind," said Alonso. I don't know, I never talked to him the whole game. It's always disappointing to concede a goal in the last minute, I totally get it but I don't know. "I was called 'a little rat'!"
