MUMBAI: Urging the Yuva Sena members to not bother about the current political situation and help people affected by floods in the state, former Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray on Saturday said that this was the time “to remain true to the trust of the people”.
“Yuva Sainiks. Irrespective of the current political situation, reach out with whatever help you can to the flood affected areas, do the relief work...all the common people are still looking to us with hope... “this is the time” to remain true to the people’s trust,” Aaditya, an MLA from Worli, said on Twitter.
In another development, a senior Sena functionary said that party chief Uddhav Thackeray will soon tour Maharashtra. He said that Uddhav will hit the streets to strengthen the party. “Uddhavji is going to hold meetings and gatherings of activists and office-bearers at various places. He has been holding meetings with the party workers continuously since the rebellion of the Shinde group. From small workers to senior leaders, Thackeray has been guiding them by meeting them at Matoshree and Shiv Sena Bhavan.” —Chaitanya Marpakwar
