Two Miami Dolphins were previously named semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2023 senior vote, as wide receiver Mike Clayton and offensive lineman Bob Kuechenberg were nominated.
On Wednesday, it was announced that Kuechenberg was named one of 12 finalists for the class, alongside Ken Anderson, Maxie Baughan, Randy Gradishar, Chuck Howley, Cecil Isbell, Eddie Meador, Tommy Nobis, Ken Riley, Sterling Sharpe and Everson Walls.
Keuchenberg was a member of the Dolphins for 14 years, from 1970-83. During his tenure, he made six Pro Bowls and was a part of the team’s two Super Bowl victories. Keuchenberg was inducted into Miami’s Honor Roll in 1995.
From here, the selection committee will meet on August 16 and select three seniors to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
