Former Leeds United defender Danny Mills has insisted Victor Orta must allow Jesse Marsch the resources to improve the squad's depth ahead of next season.
The Whites have battled tirelessly throughout this season with reoccurring injury problems, with the likes of Liam Cooper, Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford all missing out due to ongoing issues.
With new boss Marsch impressing thus far following three wins since his appointment, ex-United full-back Mills has backed Orta's plan for the future at Elland Road.

“When Jesse Marsch first came in he said he wanted more squad rotation and he will give young players a chance,'' began Mills, as he spoke exclusively to Football Insider.
“It’s OK having a first-team squad of 18 if that’s a very strong squad of 18, like Liverpool’s would be. Then you’ve got some really good youngsters coming through.
“Leeds don’t have the strength in depth in terms of quality. We’ve seen that when they lost a couple of players. You’ve got to add and make sure it’s better than what you’ve got already if you want to improve.”
With the club opting to not delve into the transfer market during the January window, many questioned Orta's method, given the perilous position Leeds found themselves in.
Now sitting eight points above the Premier League's relegation places however, many have insisted Marsch must be given the tools to expand on United's recruitment drive later this year.
With United's Spanish director of football insisting their will be “one or two” players added however, questions still remain over what the club's are regarding Phillips future too.
