Former Corrie star Brooke Vincent splits from fiancé Kean Bryan after a decade together

Former Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has reportedly split from her fiancé after 10 years together.

The actor, best known for her role as Sophie Webster in the ITV soap, first got together with former footballer Kean Bryan in 2016.

The couple, who became engaged in 2022, share two children, Mexx and Monroe.

However, four years on, a source close to the couple has claimed that they decided to quietly call off their engagement earlier this year.

A source told The Sun: “Brooke and Kean have decided to split but are co-parenting their sons together. It wasn’t an easy decision for them to make and they are both trying to navigate this new path together.”

It claimed that the couple have both thrown themselves into work and are spending time with friends following the split.

"They had been together for ten years so it was always going to take time to adjust. Right now their focus is on their sons and keeping normality for them,” it added.

Whilst yet to announce to comment on the alleged split themselves, the couple have unfollowed one another on Instagram.

In a recent social media post, Vincent shared a carousel of photographs looking back on the previous month.

“August… somehow an ending and a beginning all at once,” she cryptically captioned the post, which featured several photos of her and her children but none of Bryan.

Vincent has previously discussed how her sons have helped her cope with tumultuous periods of her life.

Last year, the actor’s grandmother died, a death Vincent said hit her “so hard” as the pair had been particularly close.

“Luckily for me I had the kids. I wasn't allowed to lie in bed and cry because I had to get up and take them to school and mask it a little bit," she explained during an appearance on the Live, Laugh, Luke podcast.
