Muirhouse's Kieran Tierney has been linked with a huge move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The former Celtic star has become a fan favourite at current club Arsenal since his 2019 move south of the border.
Now Spanish outlet El Espanol claim that the Bernabeu outfit believe Tierney is capable of challenging current left-back Ferland Mendy for regular games.
He has been added to a summer shortlist of targets by the La Liga leaders and a price of £30 million has been quoted.
Given that Arsenal paid Celtic £25 million for Tierney, it is unlikely that would cut it.
The Hoops may be hoping a deal comes off as it's understood a sizeable sell-on clause was inserted into the left-back's Premier League move.
Tierney is a vital player for Scotland head coach Steve Clarke and is relied upon at full-back by Gunners boss Mikel Arteta.
