Former Celtic star Scott Brown waves Rangers winger Ryan Kent off after red card

He's an old foe of Scottish club Glasgow Rangers and he couldn't resist another cheeky dig.

Aberdeen captain Scott Brown lapped up the red hot atmosphere at Pittodrie as the side held the Scottish Premiership leaders to a draw.

Lewis Ferguson levelled from the penalty spot after Ianis Hagi had given Gio van Bronckhorst's side the lead in the Granite City, the Daily Record reports.

But Brown revelled in the aftermath of long-term foe Ryan Kent receiving his marching orders.

In the closing stages the winger flew into a challenge on the former Celtic skipper but contract seemed minimal.

However, whistler Kevin Clancy showed the Rangers man a second yellow and his side had to hold on for the point.

Kent famously copped a retrospective two-game ban for whacking the former Celtic skipper back in April 2019.

As he left the park he had a few words to say to Brown as he approached the Dons' skipper as he walked to the tunnel.

But that didn't deter Brown, who smirked and waved Kent off the pitch as the home crowd cheered him on.

It's a massive point for Stephen Glass' side and takes Rangers four points above the Hoops at the top of the table.
